This series was taken following an intense Christmas storm in the Santa Ynez valley. These photos were taken using a Canon 28-135mm lens.

This was my fist serious attempt at photography for the sole sake of the quality of the photos. Some colors photos were taken, but most in this series were shot as black and white. The subjects were various areas in the Big Sur region, including Creamery Meadows, McWay Falls, Nepenthe, Pfeiffer Falls and Beach. These were all shot with the 40D using Canon's 28-135mm and 100-300mm lenses.
