Aviation photographs have two distinct styles; static photographs are essentially identical to automotive portraits, flying photos are demanding in physical technique. I have a long history with aircraft, growing up flying light aircraft and helicopters and attending air shows since before I can remember. Only since 2008 have I had sufficient equipment to seriously photograph aircraft in flight.

The Chino Air Show is a fantastic venue. Its curved flight line gives you opportunities for different angles than you would see at other air shows.
