There are two categories of Aerotech Vehicles: Fighters, which are small one-seat craft designed for maneuverability, and Dropships, which require a small Mech as a pilot in order to carry additional Mechs as cargo. Fighters are most often used for ground support, while the much larger Dropships are used to transport slower Assault Mechs.

Aerotech Fighters:
Corsair: Armed with dual AC10s, the Corsair is the dogfighter of this group. It is also effective against slow-moving ground targets when strafing in a shallow dive.
Weight: 50 tons               Speed: 65
Agility:
Very good            Climb: Good
Payload: 1                      Armor: Poor

Stingray:
The Stingray is armed with two group-fired PPCs. The Stingray is very effective against faster Mechs because of the bracketing of the twin PPCs and the projectiles' heat generating properties.
Weight: 60 tons               Speed: 55
Agility:
Very good            Climb: Good
Payload: 1                      Armor: Very poor

Riever: The Riever is the largest fighter, carrying the largest weapon: the Arrow IV (a non-locking version). While single volleys are very destructive against any type of ground target, the slow speed of the missile makes it virtually impossible to engage air targets.
Weight: 100 tons              Speed: 45
Agility:
Good                    Climb: Good
Payload: 1                       Armor: Fair

Dropships:
Leopard Class: Quick for a dropship, the Leopard Class is an exercise in moderation; it has good armor, good payload, fair agility and its LRM-10 is moderately effective against any land or air target.
Weight: 1700 tons            Speed: 30
Agility:
Fair                      Climb: Good
Payload: 3                       Armor: Good

Union Class: The Union Class is purpose built to ferry as many Mechs as possible while also carrying enough firepower to enter a hot LZ. Armed with a Long Tom, The Union Class can clear a hostile landing site or be used for long-range bombardment.
Weight: 3500 tons            Speed: 25
Agility:
Poor                     Climb: Good
Payload: 5                       Armor: Very good
