This is a brief summary of my life's work to-date, organized by period.

   2009

In 2009 I further refined my photographic skills and had photos published for the first time. I was commissioned to design another race car livery, and continued customizing my Z4 M Coupe. I also created this website. Lastly, I started painting again.

   2008

This year I continued as Creative Director of BMS and also took on other graphic design work. Most significantly I started DSLR photography, focusing on proper photographic techniques.

   2006 to 2007

During this period I created some of my best automotive paintings. As Creative Director of BMS I designed my first two race car liveries, as well as print and online ads for the company. I also focused on photography, but had only compact digital cameras to work with.

   2004 to 2005

In 2004 I was commissioned to design a custom 1959 Chevy. I also did graphic design work for BMS, paving the way to become Creative Director. I also started painting automotive portraits. I attended my first high-performance driving school, which opened the doors for the ensuing work customizing BMWs. 2005 saw a lot of travel, which gave me ample opportunity to practice photography and become inspired by new experiences.

   1999 to 2003

During this period I started branching out into painting different subjects. Formal Impressionism solidified into a mature style. I created my first website, entered each annual MotorTrend Automotive Design Contest, started dabbling in digital photography and delved deeply into game design - modifying Tribes.

   1995 to 1998

Most of my paintings during this time were traditional Impressionist styles, but I was also cultivating Formal Impressionism. I primarily focused on female portraits. I worked as graphic artist, employed and freelance. I studied cars, modifying my 1966 Mustang and drawing many sketches of hot rods and customs.

   1991 to 1994

I started painting in college in 1991. Through the following years I searched for artistic identity while refining my skills and studying artists on my own. It was during this period that the foundations of Formal Impressionism were laid.

   1988 to 1991

During freshman year of high school I took my first drafting classes. After transferring to Don Bosco Technical Institute I took classes in mechanical drafting, architectural drafting and technical illustration. My love for aviation remained, but I also started drawing cars, animals and figures.

   1980s

As far back as I can remember I have drawn, and the earliest of my drawing always involved airplanes and mechanical constructs such as robots. In junior high school I was inspired by the talents of classmates, and broadened my knowledge through their influence.
