Pizzino contacted me to design a livery for his E36 race car based on the asymmetrical paint job of a powerboat he used to own. I slightly modified the colors to reflect both the German flag and BMW stock colors.

In the tradition of BMWs other Art Cars I decided to create my own...for now in 1:18 scale model form. The driver's side of this Z4 M Coupe represents BMW's Motorsport division. The passenger side represents the Interlagos Blue Z4 M Coupe that was first unveiled to the public. The car is painted as I would paint it on canvas, but directly on the car.

I was approached by NWCFT to simultaneously create a logo and vehicle wrap for their fleet of Scion xBs. The wrap would incorporate the logo, and the logo would incorporate the look of the vehicle wrap. These cars are in use throughout Santa Barbara County. The logo itself can be viewed in my Graphic Arts section.

This project was part of a proposal to Toyota to field a Scion Tc race team in the Koni Challenge's ST class in 2008. The project was not pursued beyond the initial proposal, but I am nonetheless fond of the design.

This was my second E36 livery design. Tom's car is a two-time national BMWCCA CM class champion. He has since sold the car.

This was my first race car livery. I designed it to pair loosely with Miller's livery to reflect both cars being built and supported by BMS. Zwart still races this E36 and is one of the top driver's nationally in BMWCCA's IP class.
